Saved Views

Filters, sorts and column layout kept as one named thing, and handed to a role rather than to a person, so the question outlives whoever first thought to ask it.

Shared with two roles
shared means named · users or roles, which are the two the view actually stores
A view stores its filters, its sort and the whole column layout, down to each column’s width and whether it is pinned. What it does not store is your page size, which stays wherever you left it rather than being reset by somebody else’s view.

The mechanism

How it works.

01

Four things travel together

The filter set, the sort, the column state down to width, pinning and which columns are hidden, and a name. Saved as one record, so reopening it restores the arrangement and not merely the rows.

02

Shared to a role, not to a list of names

A view goes to named people, to CRM roles or to a team. Given to a role it follows whoever holds that role, so somebody starting on Monday opens the same board as everybody else without being added to anything.

03

Your default is yours

Marking one default clears your previous default for that list. It decides what you open on, and it does not decide what anyone else opens on.

04

A lens, never a key

Opening one re-runs it against what you personally may read. Two people on the same view can honestly see different row counts, and that is the point of handing it out freely.

Where it sits

One moment in every record.

Every record passes through the same seven. Saved Views is the lit one, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.

8 facts
Saved
Filters, the sort, column order, width, pinning and hidden columns, under one name
Lists
Leads, deals, products and vendors, kept apart so a view cannot open on the wrong one
Shared with
Named people or CRM roles, in any combination
Role shares
Follow the role, so a new holder inherits the view without being invited
Teams
A third kind of recipient beside people and roles, carrying the whole view to everyone in it
Default
One flag per view. Naming a new one clears the previous one you named
Ownership
A view has one owner. Being shared a view does not confer editing it
Scope
It narrows what you may already read and cannot widen it by a single row

More in Leads & Sales CRM

11 capabilities

The system of record the phone writes to directly - no sync job.

Lead Stages

Create the stages your floor argues about, colour them, order them and rate them hot, warm or cold, while six fixed categories keep the reporting stable.

Lead Sources

Ten sources seeded and sealed, your own added beside them, each with a colour and a live count, and one stamped across a whole import rather than per row.

Custom Fields

Eleven field types, all of them on the picker, with options, defaults and a section of their own, on leads, deals, products and vendors. No cap on how many.

Field Groups & Layouts

Sort the fields you add into named sections with their own colour, order and table visibility, then grant or withhold a whole section per permission profile.

Bulk Import

Upload, map, review. Headers auto-map against the full field catalogue, imports stream so memory stays bounded, and a failed row never stops the run.

Duplicate Detection

Matched on normalised email then phone, at the moment a record is written, so the duplicate is caught on the way in rather than found in a report later.

Activities & Timeline

Every field change on a record with both values, beside the notes, mail, tasks and deal links against it, assembled as it happens rather than typed up later.

Touchpoints

Calls, voicemails, emails and texts merged into one chronological history per lead, attached by the number they reached, with duration and the wrap-up code.

Tasks & Reminders

Tasks with assignees, reminders, comments and templates, raised by hand or by a sequence, and the only CRM object that leaves the app to find someone.

Roles & Permissions

A role tree, sixteen org-level flags, per-entity CRUD and sharing rules across branches - so a BPO runs several clients on one tenant, safely.

Goals & Leaderboards

Ten measures over six windows, with attainment read from won deals and logged work the moment you open the target rather than filed by hand or overnight.
