Microsoft Teams
The one conferencing provider whose meeting is made through its own interface rather than inside the calendar write. Choose Teams on a booking and the joining address is created and carried into the invitation.
Who makes the joining address
you paste onethe chooser offers it and drops into the branch that asks for an address you already have
- online meetings, read and write
- calendar, read and write
- reading your own profile
- offline access, for a long-lived credential
One route turns a task into a meeting and writes the joining address back. Nothing in the interface calls it, and there is no amend and no cancel on this provider at all.

How it works.
Connecting is real and complete
Consent covers online meetings read-write, calendar read-write and reading who you are, plus offline access so a long-lived credential comes back. It is stored against your user on the workspace integration row.
The meeting is made through Microsoft's own interface
One route turns the booking into a Teams meeting through Microsoft's online-meetings interface and writes the joining address back onto it. That is a separate call from the calendar write, which is exactly what makes Teams a different shape from Google Meet.
Or bring an address you already hold
The conferencing chooser will also take one you paste, for a standing room somebody else owns. Either way the booking ends up holding a single joining address rather than two competing ones.
The address travels with the invitation
Once it is on the booking, the calendar entry carries it in the description, and in the location field as well where you did not type one of your own. Guests receive it in the invitation rather than in a follow-up message.
Two moments in every message.
Every message passes through the same seven. Microsoft Teams is the lit ones, and everything either side of it is a different page in this category.

7 facts- Consent
- Online meetings read-write, calendar read-write, reading your own profile, and offline access
- Implemented
- Creation. A reschedule moves the booking and the entry, and the joining address stays the one already made
- Where it is made
- From the booking form, on the same save that writes the calendar entry
- In the booking form
- Offered in the conferencing list, and it will take an address you supply instead of making one
- What a supplied address gets you
- The calendar entry carries it in the description always, and in the location field only where you left the location empty
- Rescheduling
- Moves the booking and the calendar entry. The joining address does not change, so nobody needs a new one
- Not the same as
- Zoom, whose room is amended and withdrawn with the booking as well as created with it
What this sits beside.
Mail and diary are one surface with several parts. These are the ones a person passes through in the same minute.
More in Email & Calendar
12 capabilitiesWebmail, four sync providers, tracking, calendar and meetings.
A full mail client inside the CRM, with snooze, send later, eight system folders and a reading sandbox that never runs a single thing the sender wrote.
Connect Gmail on one scope and mail arrives by push rather than polling, filed against the lead holding the address, with nobody having to forward anything.
Outlook and Microsoft 365 sync through Graph with delta queries and subscriptions, so large mailboxes stay current without re-reading themselves.
A Microsoft mailbox brings its calendar and address book over Graph, on subscriptions that renew themselves, with a ten-minute pass running underneath.
Any mailbox that speaks IMAP and SMTP connects with a form and a live login test, so a provider nobody built an integration for is still a real inbox here.
Templates with merge variables, organised into groups and permissioned per team, so the answer your best rep writes becomes the answer everybody sends.
Grant a whole template folder to particular roles and teams, so regulated copy stays with the people allowed to send it. Filing is the act of sharing here.
Opens and clicks recorded against the record, with signed link identifiers so the tracking endpoint never trusts a parameter it was handed.
Put a thread out of sight until it matters and schedule a send for the morning, with the parked thread coming back unread so you cannot walk past it.
One signature per connected mailbox, added by the send path to new messages and forwards, so mail from the platform arrives looking like mail from a person.
Pick Google Meet on a booking and the calendar write mints the link with the invitation, so everyone on the account gets it rather than finding it in a note.
Inbound mail attaches to the lead holding any address on it, sender or recipient, matched exactly once lowercased. Two columns, one query, no resemblance.
The rest of the platform.
Five more categories, all on the same record and the same bill. Each card names three of its capabilities, so you can tell from here whether it is worth opening.
